Fran Montano is an Emmy award-winning acting coach and master teacher. He has been teaching acting in Los Angeles for over 15 years, based on the Meisner Technique as taught by the late Edward Kaye-Martin.
Fran has been an actor for over 25 years and an acting coach for 20. He has been seen on numerous television shows such as E/R, Melrose Place, The Nanny, Married With Children, Nightstand, The New Adventures of Robinhood, Days of Our Lives, The Young and The Restless, Sunset Beach, Becker, and was a series regular on the Showtime series Laughs. Fran has received numerous stage, Telly, and Cine Eagle Awards.
Fran is uniquely gifted in troubleshooting the particular blocks that are holding an actor back form reaching their full potential, and in helping them break through those blocks.
Fran also is an accomplished composer/pianist/performer. He spends his free time captivating audiences around the country with his award winning solo piano concert performance piece Intimate Views, which combines original piano music with touching personal narratives.
